Go Nuts – A Fundraising Partnership Between Queen’s Engineering Society and Rotary in Kingston
(Voting September 8th – September 30th)
Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbours, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
For 100 years Kington Rotarians have made an impact locally and internationally on literacy, peace, clean water, health, and a sustainable environment. We are always working to better our world.
Funds raised by GoNuts will go a variety of youth programs like Easter Seals, support for local seniors, indigenous groups, sustainable environment (we are building a Butterfly Garden this year) and local not-for-profits through our Community Outreach Grants process which happens three times each year. We look forward to seeing machines produced by the students and assisting in the raising of funds for these efforts.
We provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.
